Form: Form is a simple silver crown, you wear it to receive your memory. 8 uses.
Vel is talking to Gov. Morgan, trying to hand in her resignation. She has Things to Do, that mean she doesn't want to be stuck in Portland. Gov. Morgan basically tells her 'no, I refuse to accept your resignation, but your boyfriend died, so I'm using my leeway to give you six weeks of bereavement leave. Jory can take your place in the 'fighting crime'.'
Gov. Morgan then notes that 'whatever cosmic strings' Vel pulled to get 'her sister back' were for a reason, and she owes Vel in a personal way. She suspects Vel is going to do something drastic against The Super Patriots Inc. and wants it to not follow her back to Oregon. Gov. Morgan wishes her luck.
Vel leaves the office to find Jackie, Princess and Torrey waiting (and a missing receptionist). The three of them are quite frank that Vel isn't going anywhere by herself.
What Joy Learned
This memory slots pretty neatly in between 'Tag gets put to sleep' and 'Getting very sick over the Pacific', especially with emotional notes. It also will discourage any 'go it alone' instincts in Joy, since Tiger's Eye would probably do the same thing.
